“Bet the Farm provides thoughtful insight about leader self-reflection, authenticity, and guts. Knowing how to synthesize mutual passion toward collective goals requires holistic sharing of ideas. Dr. Goode is one of the most dynamic, well rounded, well respected leaders I’ve encountered in my 20 years in the manufacturing sector. Leadership comes naturally for him, he engages people, gets the most out of every opportunity and quite simply GETS THINGS DONE!! The advice given in this book on mentors has validity. You do not choose your mentors, they choose you. Wow, thanks for highlighting that leadership is a two way street.”

It is my pleasure to author this letter of recommendation for Dr. Antwain Tate Goode. Dr. Goode is an outstanding leader with a passion for enabling students to leave the walls of academia professionally and culturally aware. I approached Dr. Goode about the possibility of working with the students at Winston-Salem State University. At our first meeting, I described the general outline of the Renaissance Male Mentoring program and how his expertise would aid this project. He asked good questions and prepared a personalized curriculum to meet the needs of our students. During our meetings, I learned he had pulled together a presentation that would empower and motivate the participants. I was quite impressed at his motivation and independence with this project. The students were extremely impressed with his work and enjoyed his strategies for their future. This personal and passionate approach is what makes Dr. Goode especially passionate about his message. Dr. Goode put in many long hours to cultivate his craft which has proven the development to strengthen others. This illustrates his high level of motivation and intellect. Dr. Goode has a vision and high expectations for the future, and we are extremely happy to be a part of his journey. I whole heartedly endorse Dr. Antwain Tate Goode.
